Performer Paulini Curuenavuli has been charged following a sting at Mount Druitt Roads and Maritime Services last year.

It’s alleged the former Australia Idol contestant, 34, bribed an official to receive a fake, unrestricted driver’s licence.

Ms Curuenavuli is accused of paying $800 to an employee, 27, for the licence in July 2016, despite being unqualified to drive.

The sting was monitoring an allegedly corrupt employee at the RMS.

Ms Curuenavuli has been charged for corruptly giving a benefit to an agent.

She will appear before Mount Druitt Local Court on August 16.
