A woman was knocked unconscious during a fight in Mount Druitt on Sunday night.

Police were called to a home Hythe Street, Mount Druitt about 9.30pm on September 24, following reports of a domestic.

Two women, 35 and 34, allegedly fought inside the home.

One woman, 34, was knocked out. 

She treated at the scene for a deep gash to her head, and taken to Nepean Hospital for further treatment by NSW Ambulance paramedics.

Officers said they were forced to hold a woman inside a police vehicle to prevent a disturbance of the peace.

Inquiries into the incident continue.
