Cammeray's shooting food star is set to shine a little brighter with the opening of another new venue.
The Public will open in April, the latest offering from brothers Will and James Christopher, the duo who have built a sizeable hospitality holding around the Miller Street strip as owners of The Laneway and tapas eatery Ms Miller.
Chef James Featherstone, a finalist in the British MasterChef: The Professionals series, will knock out pub dishes and a smattering of classic Greek and Mediterranean staples.
The Public will open in the Miller Street site where Epoque Belgian Beer Cafe used to trade.
Completely remodelled, the former European pub interior has been traded for a "semi Scandinavian feel".
And the Christopher siblings have drafted in a new partner of the project, lower north shore local Damian Barrow.
