French Top 14 rugby side Toulon have confirmed the signing of Queensland Reds and Wallabies five-eighth Quade Cooper on a two year contract.
The RCT (Rugby Club Toulonnais) Facebook page posted on Friday night that the New-Zealand-born player will join up with the club as early as this summer.
Cooper will join fellow luminaries Ma'a Nonu, Matt Giteau and Drew Mitchell at the French glamour club.
It remains to be seen whether he will play in this year's Rugby World Cup due to his lack of game time, with Waratahs No. 10 Bernard Foley the favorite for the playmaker role.
Cooper remains sidelined with a broken scapula, as he has been restricted to just a game-and-a-half for the struggling Reds.
