This week I try ... Samadara Ultimate Age-Defying Facial
The lowdown This facial had me at "age-defying" and the promise of rose-quartz crystals and a Samadara "healing point", which "reawakens the skin's natural healing energies", only add to its allure. My therapist, Kristina, starts with hot foot compresses. These are followed by a double cleanse and exfoliation before the Ultimate Age-Defying Oil is massaged in using a doughnut-shaped rose-quartz crystal. Next, she applies a leave-on gel mask, then adds the amazing Sodashi Thermal Infusing Face Mask, which heats up as it sets. While this is working its magic, I enjoy a hand and arm exfoliation and massage. Once the mask is removed, Kristina applies a rose mist, a soothing mask, and some eye and lip cream. Crystals are placed over my heart and third eye to conclude the treatment.
Pleasure factor Right up there.
Downtime At an hour and 45 minutes, it's a great way to relax.
Results My skin feels hydrated and any tension in my facial muscles has been released.
