Hawkesbury police caught and locked up a rogue duck after it was causing traffic chaos in Hobartville this morning at around 8:30am.
Police were patrolling the vicinity of Valder Ave, Hobartville when they observed a lady with a dog leash and a duck on the side of the road.
Officers believed the lady to be walking the duck and when she was spoken to she advised the duck was causing traffic issues in the area and was trying to catch it.
The young heroic constable was able to subdue the offending rogue duck and place it into the rear of the Police caged vehicle.
The duck was taken to Windsor Police Station and entered into custody before being charged with impeding the free flow of traffic in a school zone.
