Two people are expected to be charged in relation to a string of drug related offences, after Hawkesbury Police executed a search warrant on a home in Wilberforce this morning as part of Strike Force Kirkby.
A 22-year-old male from Wilberforce and and 21-year-old female from South Windsor were arrested at 5:30am morning at a home in Hawkins Place, Wilberforce and a number of items were seized by police.
The arrests come after months of investigation by Windsor Detectives into the purchase and importation of drugs from the Dark Net, and the ongoing supply of those prohibited substances.
Police said the male was likely to face charges in relation to drug importation and the ongoing supply of drugs and the female likely to face drug supply charges.
A number of items were seized from the Hawkins Place home this morning including a laptop, Ipad, phone and taser and other items yet to be analysed.
Crime Manager for Hawkesbury Police, Detective Inspector Paul McHugh said the arrests this morning were a significant breakthrough in their investigations.
“The arrests this morning are a result of good work carried out by Windsor Detectives,” Det Insp McHugh said.
